GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS

1. 220 Credits
2. 2.0 Grade Point Average for grades 9 through 12
3. California High School Exit Exam
4. English – 8 Semesters (40 credits)
   1. English 9
   2. English 11
   3. English 10
   4. English 12
5. Social Science – 6 Semesters (30 credits)
   1. World History 1 year (10th grade)
   2. US History 1 year (11th grade)
   3. American Government 1 semester (12th grade)
   4. Economics 1 semester (12th grade)
6. Mathematics – 4 Semesters (20 credits)
   1. Two years with 1 year being Algebra
7. Science – 4 Semesters (20 credits)
   1. Physical Science 1 year
   2. Biology (Life Science) 1 year
8. Physical Education – 4 Semesters (20 credits)
   1. All 9th grade students must be enrolled in PE.
9. Fine Arts – 2 Semesters (10 credits)
   1. Satisfied by any combination of Art, Music, Drama and/or Foreign Language.                                     
10. Practical Arts – 1 Semester (5 credits)
    1. Satisfied by a course in business education, industrial arts, life skills or ROP.                                       
11. Academic Elective – 2 Semesters (10 credits)
    1. From the following areas:  mathematics, science, social science, foreign language, and/or language arts.
12. Health Education
13. Computer Information Literacy
    1. Completed through various required assignments in core courses.
